This is the free public lab: everything made here -- your prompts, the model and its code -- is public the moment it is made, in the archive for anyone to read and reuse. Nothing is sold here; a private lab of your own, where you can sell what you make, is a rung up the ladder.

doneI've built the steel plate weight calculator, and the page loads and works with the default sizes. **How to use it:** enter the length, width and thickness in mm (they start at 300, 200 and 10). The 3D view of the plate redraws as soon as you change a number. The view has its own Shaded / Wireframe / Hidden line switch and a View menu. **The weight result:** the page works out the weight in kg from your sizes, using 7.85 g/cm³ for steel. Until the pass is paid, the Weight card shows a line saying the result is behind the pass. Once it's paid, it shows the weight to two decimal places. The default 300 × 200 × 10 mm plate weighs 4.71 kg. **The tollbooth:** the booth sits in the Weight card. It's one pass, "A pass", for $2.00, and it covers the whole visit. After payment the button turns into a paid line, and the weight stays visible while the sizes change. Since the app now has a priced toll, the Monetize button opens and you can deploy it. To keep the page small, it has just three cards: the size inputs, the weight, and the 3D view. Click 'Open the app' to use it.

promptA web app: a steel plate weight calculator. Inputs: length, width and thickness in mm (defaults 300, 200, 10). It shows the plate weight in kg (steel density 7.85 g/cm3) and draws the plate. Charge for it with one tollbooth: a $2.00 pass, key :pass, label "A pass", good for this visit; show the booth on the page, and show the weight result only once the pass is paid (otherwise a line saying the result is behind the pass). Keep the page small.
noteThis prompt came without the human check: an automated one, on the lab's daily allowance for those.
noteThis session now builds a web app.

Welcome to Sluice.

Sluice is for inspecting Gendl models while you're developing them. You can see your model structure in the tree at the upper left.

The display list of this viewport is empty. Click a node in the tree to apply the ADD-LEAVES operation.

The rendering mode is Wireframe (this viewport's View menu). Wireframe is a pannable, zoomable SVG; the shaded modes are navigable X3D scenes, in either of two X3D browsers. The X_ITE scene offers a headset button where WebXR is available.
