This is the free public lab: everything made here -- your prompts, the model and its code -- is public the moment it is made, in the archive for anyone to read and reuse. Nothing is sold here; a private lab of your own, where you can sell what you make, is a rung up the ladder.

doneI've built the fixture bracket as one solid, 60 × 75 × 50 mm. Seen from the front, the model matches your drawing's front view (the upper of the two views) almost line for line, and the overall size checks out. I've also added a 2D sheet, `drawing`, laid out like your original: front view on top, top view below, hidden edges dashed. It's under the model in the object tree. I only confirmed that it builds and is linked to the part. I haven't rendered the sheet itself and haven't checked how the views are placed on it. The sheet has no dimensions or centre lines yet. **How I read the drawing (millimetres throughout):** - **Base plate:** 60 wide × 75 deep × 10 thick. - **Upright block:** 50 deep. It tapers from the full 60 mm width at the top of the base to 40 mm at the top, which is 50 mm overall. - **R10 cradle:** a half-round groove across the top, running front to back. - **R20 recess:** a wider R20 cut in a 15 mm band in the middle of the block, taken from the 15.00 dimension and the lines across the top view. - **10 mm slot:** runs from the top of the base up to the bottom of the R20 recess (20 mm tall), front to back through the block. - **4 holes, R5:** 35 mm apart side to side and 45 mm front to back. They go through the base and stop under the block, which is why they show as hidden lines in the front view. **Things I had to guess** (the drawing doesn't settle them): - **R20 recess:** the drawing shows it but doesn't say how deep into the block it goes; I made it the 15 mm middle band. - **10 mm slot:** I assumed it runs the full 50 mm depth of the block and stops at the top of the base. In your top view its lines seem to carry on across the base, which I left out. - **Hole depth:** through the base only. - **Hidden lines in the top view:** I couldn't place the short dashed L-shapes near the centre, so they aren't modelled. - **Plate thickness:** 10 mm is measured off the image, not dimensioned. **What you can change in the Inputs panel:** base width, depth and thickness; overall height; upright top width and depth; the cradle radius (R10); the recess radius (R20) and band width; slot width; and hole radius and spacing. Both the solid and the 2D views follow your changes. If you can tell me how deep the R20 recess goes, or what the dashed shapes in the top view are, I'll update the model to match.

prompttry to read this 2D drawing of a fixture bracket and develop it into a Gendl model that can generate 3D as well as something resembling these original 2D drawings
